therefore 7a+13b=27&13a+7b=33
add both equation we get 20a+20b=60,a+b=3
b=3-a ,7a+13(3-a),=27,7a+39-13a=27,-6a=-12
a=2,1/2x+1=2,2x+1=1/2,2x=-1/2,x=-1/4,b=1,1/y+2=1
y+2=1,y=-1
