what is the answer of the question?

sam017: total resistance=50ohm, now resistance of each of 5 part is 50/5=10ohm, now they are to be used in parallel connection. then, effective resistance will be 1/10+1/10...5times. ie 5/10=0.5ohm

sam017: reverse it then we get resistance 1/0.5 =2 ohm

The equivalent resistance is 2 ohm.
