in triangle BAD nd CAD :-
AB=AC
AD( COMMON)
ANGLE BAD= ANGLE CAD
therefore by sas they are congruent
therefore, by cpct BD=CD

Since AD divides the base into two halves then we can say that it is the height of the triangle ABC

Since it is common in both the triangles ABD and ACD

Hence it is the 3rd pair of congruent sides for the 2 triangles

Therefore,

ABD is congruent to ACD by RHS congruence criterion
