a) the coin fell down into the glass. because it was at rest when we moved the cardboard

b) Newton's first law or inertia

c)the coin is heavy or light, that doesn't matter...it obeys inertia and it will fall down....

Explanation:

As soon as the card is Flicked the coin falls into the glass.This is due to the inertia of rest. Since the coin which is at rest on the card before the flick tends to remain in state of rest after the flick.

This is the clear representation of first law of motion

If it is replaced with heavy rupee coin. Since,the mass of the coin is greater it will unable to displace the card alone with a flick. So the coin will not fall into the glass..
