Answer:

Given :-

 \mapsto \sf \dfrac{x}{2} - 3 =\: \dfrac{2(x - 1)}{5}

To Find :-

  • What is the value of x.

Solution :-

 \implies \sf \dfrac{x}{2} - 3 =\: \dfrac{2(x - 1)}{5}

 \implies \sf \dfrac{x - 6}{2} =\: \dfrac{2x - 2}{5}

By doing cross multiplication we get,

 \implies \sf 5(x - 6) =\: 2(2x - 2)

 \implies \sf 5x - 30 =\: 4x - 4

 \implies \sf 5x - 4x =\: - 4 + 30

 \implies \sf\bold{\red{x =\: 26}}

\therefore The value of x is 26 .

Hence, the correct options is option no (D) 26 .
