a)AB.AP=3 cm
(AP+PB)AP=3cm
AP²+AP.PB =3
AP²+2AP=3
AP²+2AP-3=0
(AP+3)(AP-1)= 0
AP = 1,-3 = 1cm . because it can't be negative
AB=AP+PB= 1+2 = 3cm
AB/2 = 1.5cm = radius

AP²+PC²=AC²
1+PC²=AC². -(1)
PB²+PC²=CB²
4 +PC²=CB². -(2)
ADDING 1 AND 2
5+2PC²=AC²+CB²
5+2PC²=AB² [because angle acb = 90′
5 +2PC²=9
2PC²=4
PC²=2
PC = √2 cm = 1.414 cm (app.)
b) area ABC = 1/2 × b ×h
= 1/2 ×AB×PC
= 1/2 ×3× √2
area = (3√2)/2 cm ²
