bark of chinnacona tree is used for making medicines of malaria that is quinine..
Neem's leaves are used for diabetes control..
plants provide many spices that is useful for us like turmeric etc...

This question is based on the chapter "Around a Medicinal creeper" by eminent environmentalist K.P Poornachandra Tejaswi.

The curse about the medicinal plant was that when someone would need it for its miraculous properties, they will not be able to find it.

The following lines from the chapter supply the answer :

'“Oh! You don’t know about this creeper. It has been cursed by a sage. The curse is that when someone needs this plant, they shall not find it. So, when you want  it and search for it, you won’t be able to find it for dear life. That is why, when you find it you must immediately tie it to a nearby plant so that it will be lying there,” explained Mara.'
