Answer: 2y^5

Hiii...

2y^5

When a question like this comes and there is a multiplications sign, you have to add the number on top of the variable (y). And then instead of 2 y's we make it only one y and write the sum of the numbers on top

✨Additional Information✨

Variable - A variable is an alphabet or a symbol which comes between a  number, A variable holds a numerical value which is unkown. These values are normally used to find an unkown value in any question.

Eg: x, y, z, α, β

From the given question the correct answer is:

the  answer of y³×2y²=2y^{5}

Given:

y³×2y²

To find:

y³×2y²=?

solution:

we have to simplify  y³×2y²

we know that,

when the between two variable multiply sign you have to add power of the variable (y). And then instead of 2 y's we make it only one y and write the sum of the numbers on top

e.g , a^{2} \times a^{3} =a^{2+3} =a^{5}

so , y³×2y²

we will  add the power of  both variable,

=2y^{2+3}

we get,

2y^{5}

hence, the  answer of y³×2y²=2y^{5}
