what is the answer to this q please tell fast .
This is a q frm model paper type the answer according to the textbook so that i get full marks.its a 3 marks q​

because germ cells divide further and make gametes and to maintain the diploid nature of the progeny gamete have to be haploid or you can say can have only one set of genes other wise the fusion of a diploid egg and diploid sperm will produce tetraploid progeny
