Row D shows the extent of hydrogen ion dissociation and pH of ethanoic acid compared to those of hydrochloric acid of the same concentration.

_______________________

■ The extent of hydrogen ion dissociation of Ethanoic acid is lower than that of hydrochloric acid.. because Hydrochloric acid (HCl) is a strong acid compared to ethanoic acid (weak acid) .

■ Also since ethanoic acid is weak acid compared to HCl therefore it's pH will be lower than pH of HCl.
