What is the apparent weight of the floating body when it floats with only it's surface seen above water.....full explanation

Answer is zero.because we know apparent weight=weight of body- buoyancy force....But buoyancy force =weight of fluid displaced....and weight of fluid displaced is equal to weight of body.so buoyancy force is equal to weight of body.and apparent weight is zero

Apparent weight is the same as the weight of liquid displaced.

Now suppose there is a beaker filled with water to its brim. Now if you carefully place a pjece of wood on it, there are maximum chances that no water will spill (depends on how carefully you place it).

Thus, apparent weight of any floating object is 0.
