What is the are of isoscelus triangle having base 2cm and length of equal sides 4 cm

Answer :-

We know , Area of triangle =

 \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h

So , Area =
 \frac{1}{2}  \times 2 \times 4

Here , 2 and 2 gets cancelled and 4 remains .

So , Area of Isosceles triangle is 4cm<sup>2</sup> .
