To find the area of a triangle, multiply the base(b) by the height(h), and then divide by 2.
□ Note that: The division by 2 comes from the fact that a parallelogram can be divided into 2 triangles.
■ Formula: 1/2 * b * h

Hey Friend !!
Base of the triangle = b
Altitude / Height of the triangle = b
Area of a triangle =
Lets see the formula to find the area of a parallelogram :-
Area of a parallelogram = bh
We all know that ;
"Diagonal of a parallelogram divides it into two triangles of equal area "
Hence , area of a triangle is half the area of a parallelogram.
Hope this Helps You !
