Answer:

Diameter of the circle = 8cm

Radius = Diameter/ 2

= 8cm/2 = 4cm

Area of a quarter circle

=

 \frac{\pi {r}^{2} }{4}

=

 \frac{\pi {4}^{2} }{4}  {cm}^{2}

 = 3.14 \times 4 {cm}^{2}

= 12.56 cm square

Perimeter of quarter circle

=

 \frac{\pi \times r}{2} cm

= 3.14×2 cm

= 6.28cm
