What is the area and perimeter of a square whose side is 32/3 centimeter ?

\Large{\underline{\underline{\mathfrak{\tt{\red{Solution}}}}}}

\Large{\underline{\mathfrak{\tt{\orange{Given}}}}}

  • Side of Square = 32/3 cm

\Large{\underline{\mathfrak{\tt{\orange{Find}}}}}

  • Perimeter & Area of Square

\Large{\underline{\underline{\mathfrak{\tt{\red{Explanation}}}}}}

Important Formula

\bigstar\small\boxed{\underline{\tt{\blue{\:Perimeter_{square}\:=\:4\times(side)}}}}

\bigstar\small\boxed{\underline{\tt{\blue{\:Area_{square}\:=\:(side)^2}}}}

So, Now Calculate perimeter of Square,

:\mapsto\tt{\:perimeter_{square}\:=\:4\times \dfrac{32}{3}} \\ \\ :\mapsto\tt{\orange{\:Perimeter_{square}\:=\:\dfrac{128}{3}\:\:cm}}

Now, Calculate Area of Square

:\mapsto\tt{\:Area_{square}\:=\:(\dfrac{32}{3})^2} \\ \\ :\mapsto\tt{\:Area_{square}\:=\:\dfrac{32}{3}\times \dfrac{32}{3}} \\ \\  :\mapsto\tt{\orange{\:Area_{square}\:=\:\dfrac{1024}{9}\:\:cm^2}}

\Large{\underline{\mathfrak{\tt{\red{Hence}}}}}

  • Area of Square be = 1024/9 cm²
  • Perimeter of Square be = 128/3 cm

\underline{\bigstar\:\boldsymbol{Perimeter\:of\:the\: Square :}}

:\implies\sf Perimeter=4 \times Side\\\\\\:\implies\sf Perimeter=4 \times \dfrac{32}{3}\:cm\\\\\\:\implies\sf Perimeter=\dfrac{128}{3}\:cm\\\\\\:\implies\underline{\boxed{\sf Perimeter=42.67 \:cm}}

\therefore\:\underline{\textsf{Hence, Perimeter of the Square is \textbf{42.67 cm}}}.

\rule{180}{2}

\underline{\bigstar\:\boldsymbol{Area\:of\:the\: Square :}}

:\implies\sf Area=(Side)^2\\\\\\:\implies\sf Area=\left(\dfrac{32}{3}\:cm\right)^2\\\\\\:\implies\sf Area=\dfrac{1024}{9}\:cm^2\\\\\\:\implies\underline{\boxed{\sf Area=113.78\:cm^2}}

\therefore\:\underline{\textsf{Hence, Area of the Square is \textbf{113.78 cm$^\text2$}}}.
