What is the area and perimeter of semi-circle?

area = (πr^2)/2 perimeter=2πr

Anonymous: Very good but you know there is a little modification u should know about that the semi-circle is a solid of anything it can be a half part of disc or half part of any ring so in the case of disc the area will be (pi*r*r)/2 and perimeter would be (pi*r)+2r(the curvy part+diameter of that disc) and for ring (180*r*180*7)/22=(pi*r)*thickness of the solid material used to make ring.

Area= ( πr^2)/2
