Answer:

diameter = 50 cm,

so, radius = 50/2 = 25 cm.

now ,

area of circle = πr²

= π × 25²

= 3.14 × 625

= 1962.5 cm²

this is the answer.

Given:

Diameter = 50 cm

To Find:

Area of a circle

Solution:

We have,

Diameter = 50 cm,

So, Radius = Diameter/2 = 50/2 = 25 cm.

Now ,

Area of circle = πr²

By substituting, we get

Area of circle = π × 25²

                       = 3.14 × 625

                       = 1962.5 cm²

Hence, area of circle with diameter 50 cm is 1962.5 cm².
