The length and breadth of rectangle is given

Length = 2 m 5 cm

breadth = 60 cm

2 m = 200 cm

Therefore, 2 m 5 cm = 200 + 5 cm

                                  = 205 cm

Area of a rectangle = length × breadth

                                = 205 × 60

                               = 12300 cm²

Hence, the area of the rectangle will be 12300 cm²

To find : area of rectangle field.

Given : length = 2\ m \ 5 cm and breadth = 60\ cm

                        = 205 \ cm

Solution :

  • According to question we are given that length and breadth of rectangle is 2\ m \ 5\ cm and 60 \ cm .
  • To find area we use following formula -
  • Area of rectangle $=l \times b$
  • Substituting the values we get,
  • Area = 205 \ cm  \times 60 \ cm

                 = 12300\  cm^{2}

Hence, area of rectangle is 12300\ cm ^{2} .
