a=5cm

b=12cm

Area of right angle triangle= b/2

so,5 × 12 / 2 = 30

Hence, the area of right angle triangle is 30cm.

Answer:

The area of the  right-angled triangle will be 30 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

In this question, we have been asked to find the area of a right-angled triangle whose height and base are 5 and 12 cm respectively.

We know that to find the area of a right-angled triangle we have got a formula and that is:

\frac{1}{2}×base×height

\frac{1}{2}×12×5 cm²

⇒30 cm²

Therefore the area of the right-angled triangle will be 30 cm².
