what is the area of a square if it perimeter is 64cm

perimeter of square = 4 s = 64 cm
⇒ side of square(s) = 16 cm
Area of square = 16*16 = 256 cm²

perimeter of a square= 4× side
4 × side = 64
side = 64 ÷ 4
side = 16
now the area of square= s²
= 16²
=256 cm²
