what is the area of a square if it's perimeter is 64cm?

Heya...

Perimeter of square given = 64cm
Formula of perimeter of square = 4(side)
64 = 4(side)
side = 64/4
side = 16cm

Area = side * side
Area = 16*16
Area = 256cm^2

Perimeter of sq= 4 × side
64 /4 = side
16 = side
Area of sq = 16 × 16 = 256 cm ²Ans
