given

☞︎︎︎ perimeter of a square is 32cm

to find

☞︎︎︎ area of the square?

solution

☞︎︎︎ we have perimeter of the square is 32cm

and we know that,

  \pink{\bold{perimeter \: of \: square \:  = 4 \times side}}

 { \tt➪ \:   4 \times side = 32cm} \\  \\{ \tt ➪ \:side =   \cancel{\frac{32}{4} } }  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  \\ { \tt➪ \: side = 8cm} \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:

so, magnitude of each side of the square is 8cm

now we have to find the area of the square,

we know that,

 \pink{ \bold{area \: of \: square =  {side}^{2} }}

{ \tt➪ \: a =  {side}^{2} } \\  \\ { \tt➪ \: a =  {8}^{2} }  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \\  \\ { \tt \: ➪ \: a =64 {cm}^{2}  }  \:

hence, area of the square is 64cm²
