What is the area of a square whose perimeter is 64 metres ?

perimeter = 64
since perimeter of square = 4×side
hence, 4a = 64
→ a = 64/4
→ a= 16 cm
thus, side = 16
since, area of square = side²
hence, area = 16²
→ 256 cm²
