Answer :-

  • The area of trapezium is 63cm².

Step-by-step explanation:

To Find :-

  • The area of trapezium

Solution:

Given that,

  • The parallel sides of trapezium = 14cm and 7cm

  • The distance between two parallel sides = 6cm

We know that,

  • 1/2 × ( a + b ) × h = Area of trapezium

Where,

  • a and b are the two parallel sides of trapezium
  • h is the distance between two parallel sides of the trapezium.

According the question,

1/2 × ( a + b ) × h

1/2 × ( 14 + 7 ) × 6

1/2 × 21 × 6

1 × 21 × 3

21 × 3

63

Hence, The area of trapezium is 63cm².

According to the Question we have to find the Area of a trapezium!

Given :-

  • Parallel Lines = 14cm and 7cm.
  • Distance between 2 parallel lines = 6cm.

Formula used :-

  • Area of trapezium = 1/2 × ( a + b ) × h.

Required Solution :-

\to 1/2 × ( a + b ) × h

\to 1/2 × ( 14 + 7 ) × 6

\to 1/2 × 21 × 6

\to 1 × 21 × 3

\to 21 × 3

\to 63

Therefore 63cm² is the area of trapezium.
