Step-by-step explanation:

he first thing we should note here is that we are looking for the area, so we need to recall the formula for the area of a right-angled triangle:

Given:-

  • Base of triangle is 4 cm.
  • Height of triangle is 10 cm.

To find:-

  • Area of triangle.

Solution:-

We know that

Area of triangle = \sf \frac{1}{2}\times b \times h

In which,

  • b is base of triangle
  • h is height of triangle

➢ Base = 4 cm

➢ Height = 10 cm.

So, Put the base and height in above formula

 \implies \sf \frac{1}{2} \times 4 \times 10

 \implies \sf \frac{1}{2} \times 40

 \implies \sf \frac{40}{2}

 \implies \sf 20

Therefore,

Area of triangle is 20 cm².
