What is the area of a triangle with base 4.8 CM and height 3.6 CM?

area=1/2base height
so area=1/2*3.6*4.8=8.64cm square

 = \frac{1}{2} \times base \times height \\ \\ = \frac{1}{2} \times 4.8 \times 3.6 \\ \\ = \frac{1}{200} \times 48 \times 36 \\ \\ = 8.64
