Area of equilateral triangle is

 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {a}^{2}

Where a is side

Here a = 10 cm

So area is

 \frac{ \sqrt[]{3} }{4}  \times 10 \times 10 = 25 \sqrt{3}

Question :–

What is the area of an equilateral triangle whose side is 10 cm?

Given :–

  • Side = 10 cm.

To Find :–

  • Area of an equilateral triangle.

Formula :–

 → \boxed{\tt\blue{ \dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{4} \times {side}^{2} }} ←

Solution :–

 → \dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{4} \times {10}^{2}

 → \dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{\cancel{4}} \times \cancel{100}

 → \sqrt{3} \times 25

 → \boxed{\sf \red{25 \sqrt{3}}}

Hence,

The area of an equilateral triangle  → \boxed{\sf \green{25 \sqrt{3} \: {cm}^{2}}}
