${2\pi}r \: = 44m$

$2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r = 44m$

$\frac{44}{7} \times r = 44m$

$r = \frac{ \cancel{44}}{1} \times \frac{7}{ \cancel{44} }$

$r = 7$

$Area = {\pi} {r}^{2}$
