India is located within both the Eastern Hemisphere, like the rest of Asia, and the Northern Hemisphere. India is considered part of the South Asia region, and it is the seventh-largest country in the world by geographical size.

Simple one: northern hemisphere; eastern hemisphere

Hemisphere means you are cutting the sphere into 2 halves. It could be done longitudinally and transversely. So there are 2 sets of hemispheres for earth. North and South as one pair and East and West as the next.

Geographically Indian coordinates are “The country is situated north of the equator between 6°4' (8°4' for mainland) to 37°6' north latitude and 68°7' to 97°25' east longitude.”. So India definitely lies in the Northern and Eastern hemispheres.
