what is the area of right angled triangle two sides of which are 5 cm and 13 cm and the perimeter is 30 cm

perimeter = 5+13+3rd
30=18+3rd
30-18=3rd
12=3rd side.

(13)^2=(12)^2+(5)^2
169=144+25
169=169

so 13 cm is hypotenuse and 12 is either base or perpendicular.

Therefore area of right triangle =1/2×base×height

area=1/2×12×5
area=6×5
area=30 cm^2
