Answer:

the area of shape b would be 28.5cm

Step-by-step explanation:

if shape A has an area of 3cm2 then you can count the amount of diamonds are in B according to the size of A

Shape A is a single diamond

Shape B has 7 Diamonds and a few triangles

2 triangles add up to make a diamond

there are 5 triangles in shape B

5/2= 2.5

7*3= 21cm

2.5*3= 7.5cm

21cm+7.5cm= 28.5cm2
