QUESTION :

what is the area of the circle, if the circumstance of circle is 44 cm?

ANSWER :

HERE,

CIRCUMFERENCE=44CM

BUT

AS WE KNOW THAT

CIRCUMFERENCE OF A CIRCLE IS 2πR

SO

2πR=44

R=22×7/22

=7CM

NOW

WE HAVE TO CALCULATE AREA OF CIRCLE

SO

AREA OF A CIRCLE =πR²

=22×7×7/7

=22×7

=154CM²

SO,

FOR THE GIVEN CIRCLE,

AREA = 154CM²

CIRCUMFERENCE=44CM

RADIUS=7CM
