Answer:

77cm.

d=14 cm

r= 7 cm

Area of semicircle= πr²/2

= 22/7 ×7×7/2

=22×7/2

= 154/2

= 77 cm.

Hope this will be helpful

Given diameter of a circle (d) = 14 cm

We know that,

{\boxed {\sf Area\: of\: the\: circle\: (A)= \pi\frac{d^{2}}{4}}}\\\\\\\\\sf {A = \frac{22}{7}\times\frac{(14)^{2}}{4}}\\\\\\\sf {\implies A = \frac{22\times14\times14}{7\times4}}

After cancellation, we get ,

\sf {\implies A = 22\times7}\\\\\sf {\implies A = 154 \: cm^{2}}

\sf {Area\ Of\ Semicircle = \frac{154}{2} = 77\ cm^2}
