AF=BE=10cm
Area of rectangle AFEB=L*B=6*10=60cm^2
Area(triangle AGH)=Area(triangle BDC)=1/2*B*H=1/2*3*4=6cm^2
Total area of the figure=area of rectangle+2(area of triangle)=60+2*6=60+12=72cm^2.
