Area of the whole figure

15×10

Area of squares

5^5+5^5 (for both the squares given)

Area of the shaded portion is

150-50=100cm

for rectangle :

length(l) = 15cm

breadth (b) = 10cm

Area of rectangle = l×b = 15 × 10 = 150cm²

For two squares :

side of both squares = 5cm

area of both squares = 2 × (side × side)

= 2 × ( 5× 5)

= 2 × (25)

= 50 cm²

area of shaded region = area of rectangle - area of two squares

area of shaded region = (150 - 50) cm²

= 100cm²

so, the answer is 100cm²
