This is split into 2 shapes, therefore lets remove the triangle on top and calculate the area of the rectangle first

2 parallel sides of rect. = 38cm

⇒ Base = 76c m

⇒ Area of rect.= l x b

∴ Area of rect. = 38cm x 76cm = 2888cm

Now find the triangle

Base of triangle = 76 cm ( since  the base of the rectangle is 76 cm)

height of triangle = 76-38 cm= 38 cm

⇒ Area of triangle  = bh/2

∴ Area of triangle = 76 x 38 /2 = 1444 cm

Adding the two areas up: 1444+ 2888 = 4332 cm

∴The sign is 4332 cm (I hope)
