Answer:

300 is 11 more than the square of 17 , so subtract the digit by square root of 17 and then divide it by 2 of 17.. This will be the value after decimal i.e.

Square root of 300= 17.{(300–289)/2*17}

= 17.{11/34}

=17.32

Thus, square root of 300 will be 17.32
