You forgot to attach figure. I attached . Plz next time do care.

Area of the trapezoid = 1/2 × (sum of two parallel sides ) × altitude
Here given,
two parallel sides are 4 and 8 .
so, sum of parallel sides = (4 + 8) = 12 unit
Altitude = 4 unit
Now, area of trapezoid = 1/2 × 12 × 4 = 24 sq unit

Hence, option (1) 24 sq unit is correct

Your Question is incomplete. You have nor mentioned the parallel side and the Perpendicular distance between the parallel sides of the Trapezium also neither attached the figure.

Let us assume the length of the parallel side of the Trapezium and the distance between them as per as the Options.

Parallel Side of the Trapezium be 8 cm and 2 cm.

Also, let the distance between them be 4 cm.

Now, Using the Formula of the Area of the Trapezium,

Area of the Trapezium = 1/2 (Sum of the parallel sides) × ⊥ Distance between them.
= 1/2 (10 + 8) ×
= 18/2
× 4
= 9 × 4
= 36 cm².

Hence, the Area of the Trapezium is 36 cm² & thus, Option 4th is correct.

Note The Answer of that Question is not unique. Because we assume that values. But although the method for solving this type of question is always be the same .

Hope it Helps.
