Here a graph of right angle triangle is given, which one vertices is on y- axis.

To Find:

What is area of triangle?

Solution:

From graph it is clear that base of right angle triangle is parallel to X- axis and altitude of right angle triangle is parallel to Y- axis. So:

Base of right angle triangle(B) = 7 units

Altitude of right angle triangle (H) = 14 units

We know the formula of area of right angle triangle is :

\mathbf{Area\ of\ triangle = \dfrac{1}{2}\times Base\times Altitude}

\mathbf{Area\ of\ triangle = \dfrac{1}{2}\times 7\times 14}

\mathbf{Area\ of\ triangle = 7\times 7= 49 \ units^{2}}

So area of triangle is 49 units². Means fourth option is correct.
