according to the question the triangle is a isosceles right angle triangle.

so area of the triangle = (1/2) base×height.

base=height=4cm

=(1/2) ×4×4

=8cm^2

so area of the triangle will be 8cm^2.

So, AB=BC=4cm

area of Δ=\frac{1}{2}\times b\times h
