For an isolated atom.... As far as I know atomic radius is not exactly defined.....
Actually dear you do not have any actual boundaries in an atom as that in football that you can measure it's radius.....
So it's measured on an approximate method.... It is measured by X-RAYS.........
And also it's not measured in isolated state but only when it is bounded to an another atom....
This is done as by X-RAY it is possible to determine exactly the distance between nucleus of two bounded atoms....
If by X-ray determination it comes to be d (for example) then chemist or physicist defined radius to be d/2.......
So overall it's not possible to determine radius of an isolated atom.....
Also radius is not given exactly in any book....
Some books have different data so some others have different....
