Atomicity is defined as the number of atoms present in one molecule of an element. Example the atomicity of oxygen is 2.

So coming back to your question, the atomicity of Argon is 1 because in 1 molecule of Argon, only 1 atom exists. In fact the atomicity of all Noble Gases(He,Ne,Ar,Kr,Xe,Rn) is 1.
