Answer:

The aurora (plural aurorae) borealis has many other names: northern lights, northern polar lights, polar lights, and more. An aurora borealis is light seen in the sky, nearly always at night, in the northern hemisphere, commonly green but also red and (rarely) other colors; often in the shape of curtains, sheets, or a diffuse glow (when seen from the ground). Northern lights are most often seen at high latitudes – Alaska, Canada, northern Scandinavia, Greenland, Siberia, and Iceland – and during maxima in the solar cycle.

people living in India can't see the Aurora Borealis Because India is near Earth’s equator. Auroras usually occur at the poles. The map below shows a particular case of intense aurora which leads to severe blackouts. In such extreme cases, they can be seen a little farther from the poles but don’t reach India.

Answer:

The Arora seen in the the norther hemisphere is called the Arora Borealis or Northern lights

It cannot be seen in India as it closed to the equator and experiences solar radiations

It is generally seen in and towards the poles due to the weather and less experience of solar radiation
