Anna Sewell was born on 30th March, 1820 in Great Yarmouth, County Norfolk, England. When Anna was at the age of fifties she started to write her diary. She didn't wrote a lot of books and didn't wanted to receive a lot of fame and the book BLACK BEAUTY was just published before her death on 25 April 1878.
