Farming in india is a tough profession to choose Because of the population and available cultivation land. In india most of the landlords have 5 -8 acres of land .

My father is a farmer in telangana state . Villagers cultivate crops like paddy ,maize,bajra,soyabean ,wheet , sunflower,cotton . On an average farmers spend 15k to 20k per acre to cultivate any of the crop mentioned above . Harvesting time for the crops is 4 to 5 months . At the end of 5th month farmer will be benefited with a profit of 25k per acre (it's only profit ).

So , what I say is people who have 5 acres will earn 1.25 lakh in 5–6 months that to with proper irrigation and good climate.
