CFC's are chloro-fluro carbons

• They are used as refrigerants in AC's and fridges.

• They are responsible for the holes made in the ozone layer of earth.

• When released into the air these CFC's rise high up in the atmosphere

• They destroy the ozone layer, as the ozone layer protects earth from harmful UV rays coming from the Sun

•Due to this the harmful UV rays which is emited by the sun enters the earth by causing skin diseases.

• Its destruction has lead to the problem of global warming.
