Answer:

Full form of VSEPR theory is valence shell electron pair repulsion theory

Base of VSEPR theory:-)

1》Shape of molecule depends on arrangement of electron pair.

2》 Electron pairs are arranged in such a way that they have minimum repulsion and maximum stability.

3》 For minimum repulsion bond angle sequence in between electron pair as :- 90°>120°>180°.

4》 Sequence of order of repulsion in between electron pair is :-

loan pair - loan pair > loan pair - Bond pair> Bond pair - Bond pair.

[required information for above molecules can be seen in attachment].

Answer:

pyramidal

Explanation:

According to VSEPR theory, the shape of AB³ type of molecule in which the central atom has one lone pair of electrons is pyramidal. An example of such molecule is ammonia or NH³. It has three bond pairs and one lone pair of electrons.
