•Electron gain enthalpy is the enthalpy change, release of energy takes place when an electron is put under an orbital.

•Electro negativity is the tendency of an electron to attract a pair of electron towards itself.

Answer:

Electron gain enthalpy is the tendency of an isolated gaseous atom to accept an extra electron to form a gaseous anion while electronegativity is the tendency of an atom of an element to attract the shared pair of electrons towards itself in a covalent bond. Unlike electron gain enthalpy, electronegativity is not a measurable quantity.
