Basically ,RO means Reverse osmosis .osmosis is the flow of solvent molecule through semipermeable membrane from a pure solvent (lowar concentration ) to a solution (higher concentration) is called osmosis.and it is reversibly used in RO purifier .i.e. by applying pressure on solution to get pure solvent.

Anonymous: ur welcome
neerav1: may i have RO's construction info?
Anonymous: means...
neerav1: the construction of RO water purifier!
Anonymous: firstly take a beaker ,then set a semipermeable membrane between the beaker .Now take one side of membrane is solution that you want to purify and onle side pure solvent. Now apply pressure from upper on solution side.
Anonymous: suitable semi permeable membrane for that is cellulose acetate
Anonymous: and one thing....this process is for desalination of salt water.
neerav1: what are the harmful effects of RO water purifier to environment?
Anonymous: soory ,yaar i don't know .....
neerav1: its fine!
