The basicity of an acid is equivalent to the number of H+ produced by an acid, when it gets ionized in the aqueous medium. So, for sulphuric acid, it is 2. One can say that the basicity of the acids is equal to the hydrogen atom present in the acid.

Answer:

Basicity is defined as the number of H+ an acid can give out when ionized in an acqueous medium. H2S04 being a strong acid can give out all H+ attached to it when ionized. Therefore the basicity of H2S04 is 2.
